Ancillary Tenant

An ancillary tenant is used for tenants who are less important to the property owner. It is usually used in the setting of commercial real estate like shopping malls and multi-unit manufacturing constructions.

Generally, Ancillary tenants are minor trades, chain stores, regional offices, or franchise restaurants that rent standard-sized spaces with short-term leases.
