How is a commitment different from a contribution?

In a commitment, an investor is legally bound to oblige their pledge to contribute financially to a fund. On the other hand, a contribution is the fruition of that commitment. Therefore, contributions are the material transfer of capital from an investor to a fund.

How can I invite LPs to invest in my fund?

To invite LPs to invest in your fund, navigate to the Connection tab within your Investor Network Profile Dashboard. Here you can scroll to the section labeled Connections where you can select LPs from your existing LP network for inviting them via email or a custom message. In addition to this, you can also generate customized invite links to send directly to your network of LPs. In this default link, you can include the default minimum of investment, and also create separate, custom minimum investment links for individual LPs.

Can I see how much the LPs have contributed?

If you scroll down to your Business Network Page within your Investor Network Profile, you will find your Fund tab and a rundown of your raise alongside the total contributed amount. Furthermore, you will also be able to see which LPs have have their verification pending, the amount of capital that LPs have committed, the amount of capital they have contributed, and the amount that LPs have signed for, but have not yet transferred to your fund.

Is there a provision to set separate minimums for different LPs in my fund?

Yes, you can indeed set separate minimums for different LPs in your fund. For this, navigate to the Connection tab on the INP. Here you can generate customized invite links to send directly to your network of LPs.  In this default link, you can include the default minimum of investment, and also create separate, custom minimum investment links for individual LPs.

How can I see which LPs have signed or completed their investment for my fund?

If you head over to the connection tab on the INP, you can scroll down below the Invite and Invite links section to open a column view of all the LPs who have been invited to your Network to participate in your offering. In these columns, you will find the tabs Signed and Completed. As the name suggests, if an investor has transferred the entire amount of the money, the investment is rendered complete. On the other hand, if an investment has not been fully funded or an investor still has their KYC verification pending, they will appear under the Signed column.
