How can I withdraw money from my account?

If you wish to withdraw money from your account and transfer it to your bank account, navigate to the Funding Accounts page where you will find the tab, ‘Transfer Funds’. Once a modal appears you can select the particular funding account you wish to withdraw from. Furthermore, you can also select the bank account where you would like to transfer the funds to. However, if you don’t see your bank account automatically, you can add it using the ‘Add bank account’ option.


Depending on your bank, withdrawal from your account may require anywhere between 3 to 7 business days.

I can’t withdraw money from my account and it shows an error message. Why?

  • This occurs under any of the following circumstances:

    • You have an insufficient balance in your account. Check your account balance as you can only invest with the amount that is already in your account. Moreover, if you have multiple investing entities, make sure that you check the balance of the investing entity you intend to invest from.

    • Check to see if you have any pending investments. If yes, it usually implies that a part of your funds will involve covering your pending investments.

Why can’t I see the wire that I sent, in my account?

Please make sure that you are following our instructions for wire transfer. Generally, wires get credited to your Lilypads account 1 or 2 business days after receipt.
